Pricing
Storage is the only thing Archivepanel charges for. There are no tiers, no seats and no per-capture fee — the only number that changes your bill is how many gigabytes your archive occupies. One plan: it lifts the storage cap and adds scheduled captures. The rate falls as the archive grows.
What you get
Almost everything is on both sides. The plan lifts the storage cap and adds scheduled captures; nothing else is held back, and nothing you capture on the free tier is watermarked, degraded or locked in.

The arithmetic
Your stored total is read at the moment the monthly charge runs and rounded up to the next whole gigabyte, with ten as the floor. It is the same figure the dashboard shows you, which means the invoice never says something the account does not.

Volume
Discounts are graduated: each rate applies only to the gigabytes inside its own band, the way an income tax band works. Crossing 100 GB does not reprice what you were already storing — it prices the next gigabyte more cheaply and leaves the rest alone.

What counts
The five files a capture produces: the self-contained document, its preview image, its plain-text rendering, its WARC container and its JSON manifest. They are what occupies the bucket, so they are what is counted.
Captures, sitemap expansions, sites, users, searches, downloads, WARC exports and account exports. Take as many snapshots as you like — the bill only reflects the ones you keep, and a schedule costs no more than capturing the same pages by hand would.
Deleting snapshots lowers the next charge, because the meter is read fresh each month rather than carried forward, down to the €1.90 minimum. There is no minimum term and nothing to downgrade.
How paying works
New accounts get a free storage allowance with no card and no expiry. Capture pages one at a time, search them, download them, take the WARC files and export the whole account — all on the free tier.
One payment of the €1.90 minimum buys your first month and authorises the months that follow. The cap goes away and scheduled captures become available. Payment is handled by Mollie; we never see or store your card details.
Each month your stored total is read, rounded up and charged, and you get a receipt saying exactly which figure it came from. Your billing history lists every charge beside the storage it was based on.
If a payment fails
A card expires, a bank declines something, a business changes its details. None of that is a reason to hold an archive hostage, and it is never a reason to delete one.
Leaving
Any account, free or paid, can export itself in full from its settings page: one .tar.zst containing every capture it holds — document, preview, plain text, WARC and manifest — with an index of the lot. No request, no queue, no waiting on us.
Each capture is also already a WARC file, which is the format the rest of the web-archiving world reads. Your snapshots open in pywb and replay through ReplayWeb.page whether or not you are still a customer.

Questions we would ask
| Is the first payment a deposit? | No. It is your first month at the €1.90 minimum, the 10 GB every subscribed account is billed for. A payment provider cannot authorise future charges without one real payment, so that payment is the one you would have made anyway. |
| What if I store less next month? | You pay less. The meter is read fresh at each charge, not carried forward from a peak. |
| Do I have to ask for the volume discount? | No. It is applied automatically, band by band, on every charge. There is nothing to negotiate and no plan to switch to. |
| Is there a contract or minimum term? | No. Cancel at any time and you are not charged again. |
| Do failed or cancelled captures cost anything? | No. A capture that did not complete stores nothing, so there is nothing to bill. |
| What about VAT? | Prices are shown excluding VAT. Archivepanel is operated by Sverige Analytics AB in Sweden; VAT is applied where it is due, according to where you are and whether you supply a valid VAT number. |
| Who handles the payment? | Mollie, a licensed European payment institution. We store an authorisation reference and nothing else — no card number ever reaches our systems. |
